Plot

The film begins with a merciless murder of a famous businessman, Dayanand Pande (Rajesh Sharma), in Nagpur during the strict 2020 Covid lockdown. This murder causes a lot of panic and fear among the citizens. The police force starts investigating this murder but gets no clue. The pressure on the police officers intensifies.

A young, determined, and intelligent female police officer, Preksha Sharma (Rucha Inamdar), takes charge of this case. She faces various difficulties while solving this case, such as her non-cooperative father, a missing girl Preksha Meshram, and pressure from politicians. 

Will she be successful in solving this case? Will she be able to catch the murderer? Will she overcome all these difficulties? Are there any further twists?

Star Performance

Rucha Inamdar, who played the role of a female cop, gave a fantastic performance. She looks beautiful on the screen. She is the real strength of this film. Her performance as a determined cop and a responsible daughter looks very realistic. The connection between her and the missing rapper is impressive. She played her role with all the necessary emotions.

Raghubir Yadav, who played the role of an ex-policeman, gave the best performance. He looks terrific in his character. His dialogue delivery and expressions are amazing. His conversation with Inamdar is the most impressive part of this film. His performance makes the film engaging.

Rajesh Sharma and Shivankit Singh Parihar delivered a remarkable performance. Both of them look decent on the screen. The rest of the supporting cast tried their best to make the film interesting.

Analysis

The film is suspenseful, with several twists and turns. It keeps the audience guessing from the beginning till the end. Pratik Moitro’s direction deserves a lot of appreciation for creating such an engaging story with continuous twists. The atmosphere of lockdown enriches the suspense element. 

The film also deals with various social issues, such as the difficulties faced by the government during a pandemic, the struggles of frontline workers, and the adverse effects of loneliness. Besides the murder mystery, these issues connect the film with the present times. The cinematography adds an aesthetic feel to the film. The atmosphere of the lockdown is beautifully captured. The performance of the leading cast holds the film firmly.

However, the film has certain shortcomings. The conclusion of the film seems to be very quick. The film becomes fast-paced at the end. A tighter ending might have enhanced the overall experience. Moreover, some of the supporting cast gave below-average performances. 

But these flaws do not have any impact on the whole film. The interesting story, outstanding performance by the lead cast, and the cinematography keep the film engaging.
