Shanghai is a searing political thriller movie that shows Indian politics that is under-wired with both intelligence and nerve. The movie is directed by the spectacular director Dibakar Banerjee's. Dibakar Banerjee's has come up with another spectacular movie that shows the Indian politics and behold the truth behind it. Shanghai is no exception when it comes to political thriller.
STAR PERFORMANCE
We expect nothing less from Emraan Hashmi when it comes to performance.He has jumped from the lover boy character to completely new character that you will see in this movie. He has played the character like none other. Kalki Koechlin, who has played a vivid role in various movies like Dev D, That Girl in Yellow Boots, Shaitan, etc., shows her skillful performance in this movie too.
Abhay Deol has beautifully nailed the South Indian role of Tamilian IAS with the right intensity. The whole story itself is phenomenal, and each character has given equal importance and each has played their role well.
WHAT’S THERE?
1. The movie tends to show you what Indian politics looks like and how it works.
2. The intensity of the movie, the picturization is just amazing. And the way the movie is carried out is brilliant.
