Enthiran (English: Robot) is an Indian Tamil science fiction film which hit the screens in the year, 2010. This film depicts relation between human emotions and robots. Rajinikanth-the living legend of Kollywood and the beauty of Bollywood Aishwarya Rai Bachchan together plays a sizzling love chemistry, this is enough to attract the people just like magnet attracts iron.
Plot:
Vaseegaran (Rajinikanth) plays a role of scientist who constantly tries to develop a robot and finally hits success in creating a robot. He names it Chitti. Vaseegaran has a girlfriend Sana (Aishwarya) who plays a role of medical student, Chitti helps Sana to clear off her exams and helps her in various things.
Suddenly Chitti develops feelings for Sana, he develops uncontrollable and inaccessible mechanical powers. Chitti destroys the whole city trying to kill Vaseegaran. The film has beautiful direction and fiction. In the end, the movie takes a leap to 2030, where Chitti is placed in a museum.
Analysis:
It is a high budget film directed by S.Shanker, the budget of the film was 1.32 billion INR. Enthiran marked the debut of Legacy Effects Studio, which was responsible for the film's prosthetic make-up and animatronics, in Indian cinema
Star performances:
Rajinikanth plays dual role of a scientist and a robot. He as a scientist (Vaseegaran) creates a Robot (Chitti) who looks like him. Rajnikanth’s dedication and commitment pave many milestones for the film.
Aishwarya plays a role of Vaseegaran’s girlfriend. Later, Chitti falls in love with her. Chitti(Rajini Sir) plays an thrilling role being a robot.
What's there?
The role of Rajinikanth sir adds all the stars to the movie. The mesmerizing beauty of Aishwarya does the trick. The story is ambitious and the special effects are quite impressive. The music by A.R.Rahman raised the excitement and craze for this movie.
What's not there?
The film is just too perfect and there are hardly any loopholes.
Verdict:
It is a spectacular science fiction movie to watch with lots of drama, romance, and fiction.
