Plot

Rameshwar works as an accountant in a Post Office. The middle-aged man, who lost his mother recently, suffers a lot from loneliness. He even tried to commit suicide, but his plan failed. He meets a 7-year-old child, Mishty, his new neighbour. Mishty’s father is selfish, and Mishty stays with Reema, her aunt. Rameshwar, who doesn’t share a great bond with everyone, becomes Mishty’s friend. They develop an excellent bonding for 15 years. Only after she grows as a young woman, Rameshwar feels she will leave him due to her marriage. The day comes, Mishty gets married, and she is about to go to Chicago with her husband. Rameshwar doesn’t want to lose his only friend. What will he do? The rest of the film deals with this.

Star Performance

Jackie has done an incredible job. His expressions and body language are absolute;y stunning. He fantastically portrays Rameshwar’s affection and care towards Mishty. Sunita Sen Gupta excelled in her role. Saniya Anklesaria and Ananya did a commendable job.

Analysis

The heartwarming story is scripted well by Sujit and executed excellently by Anant. Right from Jackie Shroff to the child artists, everyone fit well in the story and impressed the audience. Alphonse Roy captured the visuals beautifully, and the music is quite neat. The production and technical values are good overall. However, there are a few drawbacks, which are made vanished by the beautiful screenplay and the performances.

The film impressed the audiences with its beautiful visuals, neat script, direction, and heart-touching performances. It is definitely watch-worthy more than once!
