Born on 24^th April 1982 in Bhagalpur Bihar Verma belonged to a lower middle-class family and lost his father at a young age.

After struggling to establish himself in various fields to support himself and his family Verma decided to try his luck with acting and started his acting career in 2010 with the long-running detective show named CID which aired on Sony.

Verma went on to star in numerous SAB shows but he gained fame and prominence with his role as a quirky madcap named Anokhelal Saxena in the TV show Bhabhi Ji Ghar pe Hai. In this show he derives immense pleasure from getting slapped and electrocuted things which make him funnier and appealing to the audience for he also makes sense in spite of being mad in the show.

One of the prime reasons behind Verma’s popularity is his stupendous acting and the way he portrays this apparently mad but adorably innocuous man who takes pride in being mad and brings out the harsh truths of the society through his demeanor. In real life Saanand Verma is humble and doesn’t carry any air around him. Perhaps this makes his fans worship him even more.
