Simran admires love stories, to such an extent that even her life has started to take after one. With her optimal employment and the ideal sweetheart Raj [Samir Dattani], she carries on with a euphoric, fantastic life until she befriends Jay. She starts to think that Raj is not good for her and falls in love with Jay. When she confesses her feeling to him, he rejects it by saying he never thought of her in that way.

Heartbroken Simran leaves and never speaks to Jay. Her absence starts to affect Jay, and soon he realizes that he has fallen for her. He plans a romantic dinner and asks Simran to meet him. He then confesses his love but this time, Simran rejects him as she does not want to hurt Raj again. As Raj tries to accept the fact that Simran has gone his friend and mother tell him not to give up on her. Jay makes her jealous but realizes that this is going to hurt her even more.

On the other hand, Raj proposes Simran, and she accepts it. But then she realizes that she does not love Raj and breaks up with him. She then goes to a movie premier in hopes of meeting Jay but Jay accepting that he has lost Simran, he is going back. In the airport when he talks to his mom she says not to give up so, he also goes to that premier and sees Simran standing out. They declare their feeling for each other getting their happy ending.

Star Performances

Imran Khan plays Jay with a compelling insouciance. A trying youthful producer, Jay is cheerful to get a shot at big-budget movie, yet he is sickened by the "filmy" adages that make up the run of the mill Bollywood marvelous. Sonam Kapoor does quite a good job.

What’s there?

Firstly, we can see a great chemistry between the fresh pair i.e. Sonam Kapoor and Imran Khan. We have lots of songs in this movie with some magical moments that make a love story.

Verdict

This movie is basically for youngsters, but only some will like it if they are more into typical candy floss love stories.
