Hum Chaar is a romantic comedy entertainer scripted and directed by Abhishek Dixit. Prit Kamani, Anshuman Malhotra, Tushar Pandey and Simran Sharma are in the star cast. The film is produced by Kamal Kumar Barjatya, Rajkumar Barjatya, Sooraj Barjatya and Ajit Kumar Barjatya under the banner Raj Shri Productions. The music composition is by Team SARA, Vipin Patwa, George Joseph and Raaj Aashoo. Varun Sud cranked the camera and Paresh Manjekar edited the film.

Namit, Surjo and Abeer are medical students. Manjari joins them and binds with them. While the girl shares a great bonding with them as her friends, those guys love her. What happens if she comes to know about this? Meanwhile, an incident happens and separates them. They all reunite after four years. How did they feel? Were they able to mingle with each other, as before? Watch the film to know the rest of the plot!

Star Performance

Prit Kamani, Anshuman Malhotra and Tushar Pandey had done justice to their roles. Simran Sharma and Himanshu Malhotra are okayish.

The director has scripted the story well. But, the screenplay lags some crispness. The chemistry between the lead stars had worked out well. The characterization is also good. Usually, people will prefer to watch Raj Shri Productions' films, not only for the stars and content but for the music too. Whether it is Maine Pyaar Kiya, Hum Aapke Hain Koun or Prem Ratan Dhan Payo, the songs and the BGM had impressed the audiences. But, Hum Chaar didn’t have exciting music. However, the banner has introduced good talents, as usual. The cinematography is impressive.

What’s There?

  • The story is good and the artists’ performance is okayish
  • Cinematography is appreciable

What’s Not There?

  • Disappointing music
  • The climax should have been better

The film has both pluses and minuses. The director and the debutant stars had tried their best to impress the viewers. Although Hum Chaar is not a super-duper movie, it could be watched once!
