George Joseph

George Joseph Olakkengil is a famous Indian music composer and music producer. He was born in Thrissur, Kerala. He went to the School of Engineering at the CUSAT campus in Kochi to pursue the graduation degree of Bachelor in Technology in Mechanical engineering. Then, he joined SAE Institute Chennai to study music. He commenced his career as an educator but later switched to the profession of a banker. From a very tender age, he has been passionate about music, and with his interest and passion led him to start playing guitar and violin. He also experimented his instrumental skills by trying his hand at keyboards. He completed the sound engineering course at SAE Institute in 2003, and went to Chembur in Mumbai to follow his dreams.

He commenced his music career as a sound engineer for composers. He has been the music producer, composer ,and programmer of television shows like Satyamev Jayate, Yeh Kahan Aa Gaye Hum, Broken But Beautiful ,and six other television shows. He also gave music to two short films ,Carbon: A Story of Tomorrow and Phir Ek Subah.
