Plot
Hamaripaltan is a story based in a village. An old professor (Tom Alter) is a professor in a school who has always been very enthusiastic about safeguarding the environment and nature. The professor is very influential on his students who belong to two different classes of the village. The haywire breaks in when a corrupt builder proposes an equally corrupt politician a proposal he can't refuse- a million dollar scam. But to bring the dream into reality they plant to deforest an entire region and their inhabitants. How will the villagers overcome this?
Analysis
The movie is environmentally driven, the movie focuses on how two different classes of children forgoing their mutual difference come together for one good cause. The movie instills the feeling of unity and needs to take steps in the right direction for all us. But the film also has its cons. The movie doesn't connect with its audience. The movie is too superficial to get connected with the minds of its audience. The only good thing about the entire 100 minutes feature is Tom Alter, the actor has given his best to the movie but the move to kill him off in the movie is a bummer. The movie should have had him throughout as he was the only one who made it bearable. Two successive shocks, one of the joined forces of the builder and the politician and the death of their professor leaves the students to take up the matter in their hands. Though the idea and intention of the movie are noble and helping the execution did not quite make it to the list.
Star Performances
The movie has got a good star cast. Nowhere is the character out their skin and they do their designated job with utmost conviction. Tom Alter is the star of the film, he is what truly drives the story forward. The children in the film are also phenomenal with the antagonist of the film.

Verdict
To watch this film you should have free time. The movie is predictable with no interesting twists and talks throughout about environment only.
