Plot : When wealthy 26-year-old Abishek Aggarwal falls for Kritika Rai, his latest infatuation, he wants to marry her. But his closest two friends, Paresh, and Amrita are convinced she is just a gold digging girl, who is after his wealth. Therefore to save their friend's life, they abduct her and keep her In Paresh’s flat. What changes will this one wrong move make in their lives?
Analysis : The plotline is loosely inspired by the TV show Dawson’s Creek but fails to reach anywhere close to the level of the show. The story line intends to be funny and youthful and fails to keep up with standards; we get a boring, slow love story instead. The movie has nothing other than songs in catchy locations thrown in there, to entertain the audience. The first half of the movie isn't that bad, but when the second half starts, the real downfall starts. Unnecessary stuff is shown, and the story is dragged to nowhere.

. The best performance in this lot is Ritesh Deshmukh, with great comic timing and nice acting too. Ayesha Takia shows potential too and is much better than the other remaining two actors, Rimi Sen, and Aftab. They both aren't necessarily bad, they just aren't good enough and give a very pale performance compared to other two.
What's there? 1. The tracks by Vishal and Shekar are nice enough and match the film quite nicely. 2. Ritesh Deshmukh steals the show with his awesome comic timing.
What's not there? 1. The plot is boring, and not at all nicely executed. 2. The story becomes slow paced and stretched in the next half. 3. Actors as Rimi Sen and Aftab don't commit enough to their role, and their dry performance leads to a dry cut movie.
Verdict : De Taali is one of those ironic movies, where the title asks us to give “Taali” whereas the movie makes us do anything other than that.
