PLOT:

As the title of the film says, it has a bodyguard in it, so the story revolves around the charming, handsome and rough bodyguard, Lovely Singh Bio coming soon... >> Read More... ( Salman Khan Salman Khan is a very famous Indian actor and a pr >> Read More... ), who comes to guard Divya (Kareena Kapoor), the daughter of a politician leader. He guards her from the bedroom to the bathroom, and by his strict behavior, Divya gets very irritated. Therefore, she plans to teach him a lesson, and she starts to make fake calls as the lover of Lovely Singh. Later, unexpectedly, she falls in love with him. But Lovely is not aware of the fact that her call lover is Divya. Somehow, her parents came to know about them. From here the twists and turns come in the story, which is not predictable, and goes with the flow of the film.

ANALYSIS:

The plot of the film is almost same as that of the Malayalam version, but it has a slightly different screenplay, which makes it interesting. Siddique did a nice job with his direction, but no one cares about the direction and the story if Salman is part of the film. So, a South-Indian story with Salman Khan is a perfect recipe for a hit film in Bollywood. The director and producer again got success in creating the perfect recipe.

STAR PERFORMANCES:

As always Salman looked macho in the film. He again flaunted his eight pack abs in Bodyguard; he did an alright performance. He looks realistic in his action scenes. WHAT’S THERE?

1. The film has brilliant cinematography done by Sejal Shah.

2. Very pleasant music composed by Himesh Reshamiyan and Pritam.

3. Film has mind-blowing action scenes.

WHAT’S NOT THERE?

1. The film has nothing new in its screenplay.

2. The film only focuses on Salman’s character; the remaining character do not look so good.

3. The film has a very long runtime; its editing could have been better.

VERDICT:

Bodyguard is a complete entertainment film; if you can watch a film without logic, then you can watch it with your parents, children and friends. The film will make you laugh and amaze you with its action scenes.
