Born in 1970 Atul has made his name as a producer, director, and a former actor in Bollywood. He is best known for producing the blockbuster hit starring Salman Khan and Kareena Kapoor, Bodyguard.

His career started at the age of 13 when he had an appearance in the film Pasand Apni Apni. He took a hiatus from acting and returned in Mahesh Bhatt’s Sir in 1993. He played Karan, the love interest of Pooja in the movie. He continued to act until the early 2000s. His directorial debut came with the film Dil Ne Jise Apna Kahaa in 2004. It was a love story, which starred Salman Khan, Preity Zinta, and Bhoomika Chawla. In 2011 he produced the mega hit Bodyguard alongside Siddique, which was a romantic comedy. The movie received mixed reviews from critics but was received well by the public making over 37 million US dollars. He is currently working as a producer in the second installment of Bodyguard.

Atul married to one of the Bollywood’s most influential family Alvira Khan, daughter of Salim Khan. He is the brother in law to Salman, Arbaaz, and Sohail Khan. Alvira and Atul have a son, Ayaan, and a daughter, Alizeh.

Aziz Mirza

Aziz Mirza was born in 1947 and has established himself as one of the more popular directors in Indian films. Aziz has not been active in the industry since 2008 but his popularity has yet to die due to the reputation he has made in Bollywood.Aziz began his career working with his brother Saeed Mirza and director Kundan Shah in 1985. The three of them established Iskra, a production house. He made his directorial debut in a television show Circus. The show followed a circus and starred Shahrukh Khan and Ashutosh Gowariker. This was Shahrukh Khan’s first break into Indian television and also helped establish Ashutosh Gowariker who later on became a director himself in Bollywood. Shahrukh Khan and Aziz Mirza had formed a special bond during Circus and he partnered with Sharukh for all the movies he has directed.  The first, Raju Ban Gaya Gentleman, was Mirza’s debut film in Bollywood. Juhi Chawla and Shahrukh Khan shared the screen in the comedy, which follows a young engineer going to Bombay to find a job and falls in love with a girl. Then he directed Yes Boss and Phir Bhi Dil Hai Hindustani, both films starred Juhi Chawla and Shahrukh Khan. Both films were well received and were hits. Phir Bhi Dil Hai Hindustani was the first movie made by Dreamz Unlimited which was a production company formed by Aziz Mirza, Shahrukh Khan, and Juhi Chawla. The recent movie directed by Aziz was Kismat Konnection.  The movie was the first that did not star Shahrukh Khan, he did however narrate in the movie. It also had Juhi Chawla in a supporting role while Shahid Kapoor and Vidya Balan held the leading roles. Aziz’s filmography has definitely helped him become one of the top directors in India today.
