Since Tron: Legacy was an unsuccessful movie as per the budgets made by the production teams as they aimed for a higher budget, but collected only $170 million that too before marketing. During the theatrical release, the movie brought a lot of income with a value little bit above $400 million at the global box office. But if Tron 3 is to be held upon, it can bring more money than the last sequel with the name of the movie itself. Reportedly, Tron 3 will is also known as Tron: Ascension.
The writer for the film is Jesse Wigutow in place of David DiGilio.
