did the screenplay. The movie revolves around a group of drunken friends who happen to find out that aliens are on Earth. Something needs to be done. Else the world is in peril.
The movie follows Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz in the series. The movie’s production was a collaborative effort by three Studios. Simon Pegg does the role of Gary King in the movie. The 40-year-old is an outright alcoholic who craves for another booze party with his friends. He drags along his hesitating friends to a party where they drink to their heart’s content. In the pub, they take efforts to set right the present by learning from the past. But, the ominous future is posing a real threat in the form of aliens.
The movie’s choreography is outstanding. The comedy track is worthwhile and outshines comedy in other movies of the time. It is horrifying than the best of the horror flicks. The movie is the last in the series of movies that are popularly called ‘Cornetto Trilogy.' Actors as Simon Pegg and Nick Frost have teamed up for the sequel. The movie’s direction is worthwhile and is no disappointment for those who have watched the prequels.
The chemistry between the two actors has worked out well. There is an undying energy throughout the movie. The earlier ones, Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz have the influence of American and British movies. The sequel ‘The World’s End’ is also one such laced drink for lovers of the trilogy. The efforts in the sequel seem very original. The movie has the right amount of recipes in it to make it palatable to audiences.
