The venture was the last one by Spyglass Entertainment. Rachel McAdams does the role of Paige in the movie, and Channing Tatum does the role of Leo. Both Rachel and Leo have just entered the wedlock and are into a happy married life. But, every movie should have a twist. A car accident takes a toll on the couple’s married life, and Paige goes into a coma for four years. She has lost her memory and cannot identify familiar faces.Â
Her relationship with her parents is in troubled waters. She has the remembrance of her old fiancé and tries to shy away Leo. Leo wants to overcome the hurdles and get back the love Rachel had for him. The underlying plot of the movie The Vow is solid and firm. Waking up one fine day to find everybody a stranger would, of course, be very difficult to take in. That is what happens in the movie. The tension adds up as just four years are deleted from the memory.Â
But, some memories remain. Rachel’s remembrance of her old fiancé leaves a gap in the relationship between her and Leo. One might expect that her parents would set it right. But, things are more complicated and add up to the interest in the movie. So, audiences are glued to their seats to watch the turn of events. Rachel McAdams does a role of a woman who is least moved by the most moving of the sentiments.Â
As she suffers regression after recovery from coma, she turns back to the flirting ways of the younger days. The person who calls her as his wife knows the tiniest details about her and adds to the trauma in Rachel. The rest of the movie is about how Leo emerges successful in renewing and strengthening the marital relationship with his wife, Rachel. The romantic drama ‘The Vow’ is a fine movie to watch and, of course, a better version of some previous romance movies.
