Predestination is an Australian sci-fi action thriller film both directed and written by Michael and Peter Spierig.

Plot

The story revolves around an agent who is sent back in time on a mission, where he is severely wounded in an accident.

The agent is then sent by the organization on one last mission to go back in time in order to prevent a bomb attack in New York Click to look into! >> Read More... in 1975. The hunt shows the consequences he now has to face for intervening with time and space.

Star Performance

The cast stars Ethan Hawke as The Barkeep, who delivers a fantastic job with his intense action. Noah Taylor as Mr.Robertson and Madeleine West as Ms. Stapleton were also some memorable characters, you'll like throughout the film.

Analysis

The film is fantastic as it starts off with the introduction of some characters, and we get to see an Agent sent back in time. It all takes a turn when he gets injured during his mission.

The start of the film is exciting, and the impressive special effects definitely keep you hooked and you are immediately drawn in the film. While some scenes in the middle of the film gets a little bit boring, but the Film picks up again as layers of the story begin to be peeled, disclosing John's past, and finally all the pieces of puzzle starts to come back together.

The ending of the film is mind blowing as you realise that it was all John and that messing with space and time has created this paradox to happen. John, who is both the agent and the recipient of the tape recording, contemplates whether the future can be changed.

Movie "Predestination" is an interesting and captivating approach to the general Sci-fi formula. While the film might appear a little slow and confusing at start but soon it becomes intriguing and the direction of film is understood.

Overall Predestination is a must watch movie for all the sci-fi movie lovers who want to watch something original and a new way of storytelling.
