Plot
Nativity Rocks is a kid's comedy movie in which the students in a school in Coventry, a city on the River Sherbourne in England, compete to win the title of best Christmas city of the year. The film revolves around Doru, a child from Syria. Doru and his father are forced to leave the country, and now they arrive in the United Kingdom. Here, Doru separates from his father. He meets a social worker named Shelly, who shifts him to Coventry, a city in England. Doru gets admission in St. Bernadette's Primary School, where he meets a new teacher named Jerry Poppy.Â
Jerry helps him to find his father meanwhile, the school is preparing for the Christmas Music Competition under the supervision of music director Emmanuel Cavendish. Will Doru find his father? What is the whole story behind Jerry Poppy? What is the connection of Emmanuel Cavendish with this film?
Star Performance
Simon Lipkin, who played the role of Jerry Poppy, gave a fantastic performance. His acting and dialogue delivery is impressive. The way he helps Doru in finding his dad touch the heart of many viewers. Brian Bartle, who played the role of Doru, looks cute on the screen. He also gave a fantastic performance. Ramin Karimloo, Helen George, Daniel Boys, and the rest of the cast did a commendable job.
Analysis
Nativity Rocks is the fourth and final part of the Nativity movie series. This part fails to compete with the rest of the preceding movies. The dialogues are very fast and artificial. However, this movie makes the viewers feel the pain of losing someone, being alone, and not being loved by anyone. The comedic scenes in this movie succeed in making the viewers laugh.
