After a fateful incident, a 20-year-old boy takes up the name “Snake Eyes” and is recruited by a Yakuza boss and joins the underworld. One day the boss orders Snake Eyes to kill a person, but the victim turns out to be the boss’s cousin who then narrates his flashback. Snake Eyes then leave without killing him, and in return, he is invited to join the Ninja’s clan. Will he be able to join the clan? What is the rivalry between his boss and cousin? Did he fail the instruction or was it a trick to get into the clan? Last but not least, who is this Snake Eyes?

Star Performance

The entire cast of the movie is attractive. From the protagonists to antagonists, even the supporting characters did justice to their roles. Henry Golding as Snake Eyes was well suited for his role, and even though Samara’s screentime was less, it was a bonus. It was a treat to watch Ursula in her role. Even the characters on the antagonist side did very well.

We see that the main hero is confused between loyalty and revenge. The way he realizes what is going on around him and the choices he makes throughout the movie are satisfying to watch.

What’s There?

  • Good and engaging characters.
  • Nice locations
  • Action scenes were top-notch.

What’s Not There?

  • The camerawork was a bit poor.
  • The story was nice but it seemed illogical in some scenes and the audience was confused by the choices made by the characters.

If you are searching for an action movie, then it is highly recommended you watch this. Good story, characters, and action, it has everything.
