Plot
The plot of the story revolves around a thirteen year old boy named Oskari. He belonged to a tribal group. To prove himself as a deserving man, as his family’s rituals he had to haunt a deer in the wild forest of Finland. On the other hand, Air Force One gets attacked by a group of terrorists. In the plane, the president of the United States, William Alan Moore, falls injured in Finland’s forest. Oskari discovered Moore and helped him. They team up to fight against the group of terrorists that wanted to kill Moore. The government set up a team consisting Vice President, CIA director and the former CIA operator. They closely monitor the events in the forest through signals sent by satellite. On the other hand, Oskari was feeling disheartened as he was unable to catch a deer. He followed the map given by his father. He found a dead deer in a refrigerator. Oskari lost his confidence as he thinks that his father felt that he was a weak boy. Moore reminds Oskari of his goal.
Morris, US secret service agent was behind the attack. He and Hazar put Moore in a refrigeration unit. They were escaping in a plane. Oskari leaps up in the plane and throw the unit in the river and he jumps in the river as well. Hazar attacked them with a time bomb. But fortunately, Moore and Oskari escaped. Moore soon kills Hazar. The bomb exploded in the plane and as a result Morris get injured. Moore and Hazar find their way back to the Navy Seal Team. Moore assures Oskari’s father that the boy is one of the bravest children. He also received the Medal Of Honor for saving Moore’s life.
Star performance
Oskari is the main character in the film. Onni Tommila plays his character. His character is intense and unique. Onni did well in the movie. His character was one of the most dramatic. Despite being a child, Onni gave performed exceptionally as his acting had courage and power. Other important character, William Alan Moore, who is the President of America. Samuel L. Jackson played Moore’s character. He delivered a fantastic performance. Although his acting was good but, his character was problematic.
Other actors like Ray Stevenson, Victor Garber, Mehmet Kurtulus, Ted Levine, Felicity Huffman, Jim Broadbent, Jorma Tommila, Risto Salmi, Felicity Huffman, Rauno Juvonen, Jaymes Butler, Erik Markus Schuetz, Moe Abbas, Adrian Can, Philipp Rafferty, Peter Nitzsche have also delivered an incredible performance.
Analysis
Big Game can be a better film. The filmmakers had a great concept but the movie was a little stupid. Even though, the movie was shot in Finland, American airforce had a significant role in the film. They could’ve used Finland’s airforce to search for the lost president, but they didn’t. There is no doubt that the movie is adventurous and compelling. The main lead like Onni Tommila acted well. Other than this, all the actors gave exceptional performances. But the characters were a little problematic as Moore, the president was a silly. The kid was protecting him instead he should be protecting the kid. However, all the other characters in the movie were naunced. The storyline was fantastic yet it was unrealistic.
The execution of the script could be better. The chemistry between the lead, Moore, and Oskari was impressive. It has beautiful cinematography. The location of Finland was very compelling. The film’s pace is just perfect. Although it focuses on many unimportant scenes. The music and sound were fantastic. They were fun.

Verdict
Despite all the shortcomings, if you watch the film without adding logic to it, you will like it. The location, music, and actors did excellent work. Therefore, one should watch this to make their mood light.
