Seamus Davey  He has additionally been included in numerous m >> Read More... , Ethan's son with his ex-wife, comes to spend his summer with Ethan and Julie. Both gets more concerned about their relationship with Davey. The duo's friends book a room, in order to leave them in privacy. They share their concern regarding their fears over the future. Meanwhile, Ethan gives an idea to shift to Chicago so they cannot be close to Davey. A heated argument rises up, and Julie shouts that she does not love him anymore and leaves the room. Will he be able to convince his wife?
ANALYSIS: Director Richard Linklater seems to be aware of the pulse of romance, of the couples in the age of forties. He extracts the exact feel from the lead pair and displays it on the screen. Liveliness is filled everywhere, and one can be able to relate the movie with their parents’s life. The director successfully filmed all three films in the same tone. He captured the emotions and surroundings of the duo beautifully, without overwhelming the duo's performance.
STAR PERFORMANCES: Hawke and Delpy's performance rocked as usual. The chemistry between them got boosted more, when compared to the other movies in their trilogy. Hawke's performance was delicate, while Delphy's performance was charged and lively.
WHAT'S THERE? This movie fulfills your satisfaction, that some may not have got satisfied with the first 2 movies before. Topics such as infidelity, divorce, commitment, resentment, that arise during the age of forties are discussed in detail. This makes the story more lively. The screenplay gives a clear view on the positive and negative factors of life.
WHAT'S NOT THERE? Delphy's character sketch is made more neurotic, that was unnecessary.
VERDICT: A good and a successful example of a movie with fine performance and neat dialogues.
