Plot

The Abbott family has Lee, his wife Evelyn, and their three children, Regan, Marcus, and Beau. Regan has hearing difficulties. Once, their family witnessed a strange object coming towards the earth. ET creatures from the object started killing the people. They sense the people by hearing, and they don’t have a vision power. Those creatures have unbelievable strength, and they act quickly. In a year, the creatures had destroyed a lot of people on the earth, and The Abbott’s Lee and Beau were among them. Regan finds out that the creatures turn vulnerable to high-frequency audio, and hence she starts creating a device from her cochlear implant with a microphone. Unknowingly, Evelyn switches on the alarm and it alerts the creatures. When a creature comes out, Marcus screams and attracts it towards him. Evelyn and Regan kill it and save Marcus. Later, they find out that some survivors are on the nearby island. The rest of the story deals with how they escape from the creatures and destroy them.

Star Performance

Emily Blunt performed exceptionally well. She portrayed a lovable mother fighting to save her children from the deadly creatures. Millicent and Noah had done their roles perfectly.

Analysis

Finally, the highly expected sequel was released after a delay. Did it attract? Let’s see about it. The script is penned very well and the direction is excellent. Even though a story without concept is made, with the narration and performances the director and the actors could make the audience sit throughout the film. Krasinski scripted it so well and picked up the right artists to attract the audience. The stars have done a satisfying job. The VFX works are fantastic, and so does the BGM. The film has excellent production values.

Verdict

The director and his team proved that they could make the audience enjoy the film throughout with a racy script and screenplay. With a lot of twists and thrilling moments, A Quiet Place 2 has given an excellent movie-watching experience. If you have watched A Quiet Place and longed for its sequel, then here is your treat!
