Thakur says that luck favored him after two years. He says that he was roaming in Hyderabad seeking chances to perform in films. After seeing Thakur’s performance as Dhritarashtra in Mahabharat series, impressed Puri booked Thakur. He also says that when he was playing Dhritharashtra his waist was 32” and now it is 27”. Puri wanted him to retain the look and so, Thakur maintains it sincerely.
