” and released a couple of days back. The release of Memu has not been widely announced and the film has not been promoted well. As it is a children’s film, if the makers had promoted well, it would have got a good reach among the children and the parents. Suriya promoted the Tamil version well and made it a hit but, ignored the Telugu version. Earlier the film was supposed to release in Tamil and Telugu simultaneously. As the producers were changed, the release of the movie had been delayed. If at all Suriya promotes the film, it will vanish from the theater due to lack of publicity, says a trade expert.
