The case began when Ramesh borrowed fifteen lakhs from Rajasekhar Reddy, a person from Kurnool. Ramesh paid him back by a check, but later it got bounced. Rajasekhar Reddy file a complaint in the local court in Kurnool following the incident and after several hearings, the producer was sentenced to one year in jail.
