starrer ‘Ooru Peru Bhairavakona’, most of the releases were washouts, with not even one managing to at least recover the basic costs.
However, one film has changed it all. Despite the presence of a film like ‘Shaitaan’, the Telugu fantasy drama ‘Gaami’ has found its audience. Withstanding the challenge, this film has earned an impressive total of approximately Rs. 4.5 crores, which is certainly not a bad opening by any means.

, this film stars Vishwak Sen and Chandni Chowdhary in lead roles. The plot revolves around an orphaned Aghora, who sets out on an expedition to the Dronagiri mountain in the Himalayas, where he expects to find a cure for his condition.
The word of mouth for this film is extremely positive, and one shouldn’t be surprised, if it recovers its budget within the opening week itself, which is surprisingly less than 25 crores, including the advertisement costs. If the opening weekend is above 15 crores, this would be more than welcome news for Tollywood, which hasn’t seen a bonafide success since January 2024.
