Did Vamsi Purposely Avoided Akhil?

It was earlier said that Akhil Akkineni will be doing his second film under the direction of Vamsi Paidipally. Later it was said that Vamsi had opted out from the movie. When inquired about it, Vamsi team said that Akkineni family wanted to remake “Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani.” But Vamsi didn’t want to remake films for a while, as he has just completed one such. Although Vamsi Paidipally is basking in the success of “Oopiri,” he informed Akkineni Nagarjuna that he is reluctant to helm another remake and bowed out from the film. It is said that Vamsi is keen in making fresh scripts of his own. But, we heard that Vamsi has nodded a film with a Top Star, recently. He has narrated a script to the Tollywood Super Star, who got impressed with Vamsi’s script and nodded to do the film instantly. The film will be started as soon as he returns from his vacation. So, the rumor mills started to spread the news that Vamsi dumped Akhil for a bigger star.
