When he noticed that some of the sanitation workers didn't have footwear, he supplied footwear too. Besides this, he supplied them buttermilk and flavored milk too. But, he didn't supply it in person, but did it through the GHMC.
In return, GHMC sanitation workers thanked him carrying the placards that has Thank You Shekar Kammula Garu. After seeing this, the emotional Sekhar Kammula posted on his Twitter page, "I'm overwhelmed....... This is a priceless guesture from the GHMC sanitation workers at Gandhi Hospital ......my biggest award.
