.” Usually, the budget will be filed in March. But, this time, they had filed it a month before. The government’s income is expected to be Rs 1,97,721 crores and the expenses would be Rs 2,08,671 crores. The debt of the state would be Rs 3,97,495 crores. The government would erect public vehicle parking lots in a budget of Rs 2000 crores. The parking lots will occupy 2 lakh two-wheelers and 2 lakh four-wheelers. The farmers will be availed with the crop loan up to Rs 10, 000 crores.
The people below the poverty line would be provided with the free Life Insurance Policies and Accident Insurances. For social security, the government has allotted Rs 3958 crores. The differently-abled people would be provided with 3000 scooters. Accidental deaths will be compensated with Rs 4 lakh and for a permanent disability, Rs 1 lakh will be provided. Rs 54.76 crores will be spent for the development of Tamil. Rs 825 crores had been reserved for the state disaster relief fund. Rs 284.7 will be spent on flood prevention works. Rs 18700 had been allocated for the drinking water sources.
