Tanusree Ghosh As A Cop!

Tanusree Ghosh was last seen in “Gemini.” This Bengali star will be witnessed in a police role for her next flick. It is a trend for the Mollywood stars to undertake the cop roles. Recently, we saw Manju Warrier playing a cop in “Vettah” directed by late Rajesh Pillai. We also heard that Meera Jasmine plays a cop role in her comeback movie. However, Tanusree is not a new one to the police role. Yes, she was seen as a police officer in “D Company” starred by Fahadh Faasil. Tanusree will be playing the cop for the second time in “Prachayi.” In Prachayi, she plays a Delhi-based police named Radhika Nair, who visits Kerala for an investigation. She will be seen in the cop-getup throughout the film. She would not be seen as rough and tough scary police officers, but a calm and stern one. When asked about the cop role, she said, “Although I have appeared in the cop role, this is the first time I am wearing a police uniform and I am quite excited about it. But, wearing it in the summer, it sweats a lot! Regardless, I felt tremendous respect for cops." Majeed Yasin directs Prachayi. The shooting is about to wrap up and the team will announce the release date soon.
