Shobana Openly Stated That He Could Not Act With Prithviraj!

Recently, Prithviraj Sukumaran starrer, “Pavada” got released, and it is running successfully in the theatres. Interestingly, the character artist and the dance expert Asha Sarath played mother to Prithvi. In a recent interview, she felt proud that she was provided with the special role and it is one among the best roles, she ever had. Initially, the role was offered to "Shobana Chandrakumar Pillai", the danseuse. As she rejected the role, the offer was given to Asha. When inquired about this, we got the information that Shobana turned down the offer, as it was a mother role to a leading artist like Prithviraj. If it were for a young guy, she would have done it. In fact, Shobana loved the script. Initially, she told that she could not provide dates, as she has dance programs. But, the producer said that if it is Okay for her, they will shoot in Chennai, where Shobana is residing. Only, then Shobi opened that if it is an elder sister to Prithvi, she could do. But, Asha, who is much younger than Shobana and a bit elder than Prithvi agreed on the role, done it and got the fame.
