, is all set to get married. She got engaged last Sunday to a doctor by profession, Aravind Krishnan, in her house in Alappuzha.
The family has arranged the engagement immediately due to the forthcoming Karkidakam. Saranya said this Malayalam month believes to be unpromising to various ceremonies including wedding, so their parents wanted to do the engagement the earliest time. She also added that the event was a private affair which was attended by their immediate family members and close friends.
Their wedding is slated to be held on September 6. Saranya reveals that she dreamt of a simple traditional wedding only and doesn’t want an extravagant one. When the actress was asked if she would continue her film career after marriage, she said, their family has been supportive to her acting career, but she doesn’t want to continue doing films. She added that she wants to focus on dance and music instead.
