Parvathi Menon, the versatile actress of Mollywood, says that her characters in the movies had made her a better human. Recently, she won the state film award for her excellence in “Ennu Ninte Moideen” and “Charlie.” In ENM, she performed the real life character, Kanchanamala, who impressed Parvathi, for her true love on Moideen. Parvathi says, "I have done 17 films, and each character is close to me as they have taught me how to be a better actor and human being. It's my way of understanding humanity better. That's the kind of growth I am looking for than the awards or box office hits. But when such things come around, these characters get immortalized." Though Parvathi is in the cinema field for more than five years, she has done only a few films. As she is very choosy, she picks a few movies and to her luck, every movie, which she choose, will earn her a good name. Her latest movie is in Tamil, the remake of “
Bangalore Naatkal
,” in which she reprised the same role in “
Bangalore Days
.”
