Malayalam Movie Denied Certification For Projecting Gay Theme

Jayan Cherian is a US Based Malayalam movie maker. He has accused the CBFC (Central Board of Film Certification) chairman Pahalaj Nihalani on the social media following the refusal by the CBFC to provide certification to his movie Ka Bodyscape. The CBFC had turned out certification for the movie Ka Bodyscape pointing out the reason of promotion of homosexuality and showing Hindu God in a bad light. Jayan uploaded the picture of the letter received from CBFC on the Facebook which has the denial of certification.

The director added that the CBFC had put the nail in his coffin. The letter has made the revelation that CBFC has refused to certify the film pointing out reasons like a homosexual relationship, much nudity in the movie, and offensive language. Also, the CBFC has protested against the depiction of Lord Hanuman in a bad light and showing the God as gay. The CBFC said that this would cause law and order problem in the country.
