The shooting had been wrapped up and the film is all set to hit the screens on 2nd October 2019 along with Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy, the Telugu film that is getting ready for its pan-Indian release. War will also release in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu. Speaking about the film, Hrithik Roshan is very much proud of Tiger Shroff and he said that none had ignited him like Tiger. Tiger told that the film is very much exciting and they both had fit in the role well.
Meanwhile, they had started promoting it differently. To attract the meme creators, the actors had been promoting their film, by leg-pulling each other’s previous films. Tiger was seen in a T-Shirt with the caption "Hiding your fear behind a mask?" and it has Hrithik’s Krish movie image. Hrithik was seen in a T-Shirt with the caption "Flying away from this war already" and the image in the T-Shirt is Tiger’s and it is from the film Flying Jatt.
