The actress will be contesting opposite former cricketer Laxmi Ratan of TMC. In a recent interview, the actress revealed that she never dreamt of getting into Politics, doing her best to whatever she’s doing is what is important. She also said that Mamata Banerjee was the reason she joined Politics.
While whether the actress will win or not is unknown, but it is clear that the star has stepped into the field for a long-term. She went live to say that irrespective of whether she wins or not, she will be a part of the constituency. We wish her all the luck for her upcoming contest.
