of ‘12th Fail’ fame will be starring alongside Rajkummar Rao. Not much is known about the plot of this movie, except that it would be a full fledged action thriller. The shooting of this movie will start from September onwards.
Rajkummar Rao has been well known for his versatility. But he has been hardly associated with a commercial action thriller. Through ‘Maalik’, he wishes to change this image. After struggling for a while, Rajkummar Rao bounced back with two small but commercially successful films ‘Srikanth’ and ‘Mr. and Mrs. Mahi’. ‘Srikanth’ earned almost 63 crores on a budget of 35 crores worldwide, while ‘Mr. and Mrs. Mahi’ earned a respectable 51 crores on a budget of 40 crores.
However, Rajkummar Rao is not done yet. He is awaiting the release of the much talked about ‘Stree 2’. Apart from that, Rajkummar will be seen alongside Triptii Dimri in ‘Vicky Vidya ka Woh Wala Video’, which will be directed by Raaj Shandilyaa of ‘
