Sushma Swaraj, the former External Affairs Minister of India, died yesterday due to a massive cardiac arrest. She had kidney transplantation last year. As her health condition was not so well, Sushma didn’t contest in the elections and hence, she didn’t get a place in the cabinet. Yet, she had been active on social networking pages. Even before a couple of hours of her death, she tweeted to
Narendra Modi, the PM of India about the Kashmir integration. Sushma Swaraj had been the PM In charge for a couple of days when Narendra Modi and Rajnath Singh were on an international trip.
Her mortal remains are kept at her residence and
PM Narendra Modi paid his last respects to her. He shared his grievances with Sushma’s husband and her daughter. Modi was seen emotional, as his party lost a senior leader, great orator and a nationalist.
Venkaiah Naidu, the Vice President was also seen paying his final respect to Sushma.
