But it is nothing new for him as he played this game for Jammu & Kashmir before beginning his acting career. Not only this he seemed to follow the cricketer closely because he claims that he had spotted Virat long before he actually became part of team India on Delhi grounds playing cricket. So yes the odds are in very much favor of the actor and his knowledge will be the particular thing that helped him for the role.
