During the promotional event, Kangana argued with a journalist named Justin Rao for his negative criticism on her movie “Manikarnika.” This angered their union, Entertainment Journalists Guild Of India and they announced that they had decided to boycott Kangana Ranaut and also they demanded an apology from the actress in public.

Balaji Telefilms who wanted to solve this issue smoothly stated that they apologize for what happened at the press event. But in a video released by Kangana Ranaut’s sister Rangoli Chandel, Kangana slammed the journalists once again and she addressed them as traitors, anti-national and pseudo-liberal. She had also pleaded them to ban her and this is their biggest favor to her.
