Fans of the recent success ‘Article 370’ were more than surprised when the news emerged that the movie will not release in the Gulf.
As per some media reports, it turns out that the news may have been a clever rumor. ‘Article 370’ is not certified. The film is awaiting clearance from many countries in the Gulf. It does not mean that the film has been banned or restricted. Even when the initial rumors came out, nobody gave a specific reason behind this decision. The makers have refused to comment on the situation.
It is not the first time Indian films have faced such restrictions. Only a month ago, the much talked about movie ‘Fighter’ starring Hrithik Roshan Hrithik Roshan with his unimaginable dance moves i >> Read More... and Deepika Padukone Deepika Padukone is an Indian actress and model. The film was loosely based on the Pulwama attacks and the subsequent retaliation by the Indian Air Force. Apparently, as per some of the critics, the film had ‘objectionable content’. Even films like ‘ The Dirty Picture Click to look into! >> Read More... ’, ‘ Bell Bottom Click to look into! >> Read More... ’, and ‘ Tiger 3 Click to look into! >> Read More... ’ were banned throughout the Gulf region, despite having little to do with any kind of controversy.
Meanwhile 'Article 370' is a certified success, having made almost 30 crores in domestic collections and more than 40 crores worldwide.
