Still, five more days are there to celebrate the International Women’s Day. Now, Amitabh Bachchan made a Picture Tweet stating, “When I die, the assets I shall leave behind, shall be shared equally between my daughter and my son #genderequality #WeAreEqual.” It seems to be the declaration of his will. Discussions apart, Amitabh’s tweet has been received well by the people. It was traditional to give away the properties to the sons. Although the courts declared that a daughter has an equal share in the property like her brother, it is not followed nationwide. Hope, Amitabh’s move will be an inspiration for others.
