The 74-year-old veteran actor was photographed sporting a neck brace while he turned up for his daughter in law and actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s father’s funeral on March 18th. Amitabh Bachchan said that many have spotted him with the neck brace and have expressed surprise or a remedial measure for it.

He said that the strained neck was due to injuries he suffered while doing stunts for his earlier movies. The stunts that have been performed has resulted in many damages. He also said that he cannot sit, stand or sleep in any position whatsoever. Amitabh Bachchan said that there were no safety devices during their times. The actors used to jump from heights without protection, without any soft landing gear. Nowadays many protection measures have come up, said Amitabh.
