Akshay Kumar Amazes Everyone By Donating Rs. 1 Crore To The Chennai Rain Relief Fund!

Bollywood Super Star, Akshay Kumar made his debut through “Saugandh” with Shanti Priya as the female lead. Through the thriller movie, “Khiladi” he reached the hearts of the people. Akshay is very busy with his movies, “Airlift” and “Housefull 3.” This Khiladi has a generous heart, and hence he has donated a prodigious amount of Rs. 1 Crore to the Chennai Rain Relief Fund. When Akshay wanted to donate the amount, he contacted director “Priyadarshan,” who directed him to Suhasini Maniratnam. Suhasini received the amount through cheque from Akshay and handed it over to Jayendra, the managing trustee of “Bhoomika Trust.” The trust supplies the food to the victims of the Chennai rain and flood. Earlier, Shah Rukh Khan was the only person, who donated Rs. 1 Crore to the victims. Now, Akshay joins with him. Hats off to your generosity Akshay!
