Bollywood Movies That Should Be Converted Into TV Shows

Indian TV shows have their form of stories that they carry on. Episodes after Episodes, Leap after Leap. We see a girl being the center of the story and not just after six months we can see how her daughter becomes the central character. Indian TV shows sucks! Or we can say with their extra K’s; they are not the best in the business. We take a look today as to how an Indian TV show should get inspiration from some of our favorite Bollywood movies.

1. Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara

A ZNMD inspired serial, come on who are we kidding this will be one of the best things on TV. A show with TRAVEL as its Tag Line in bold, combined with a refreshing take on friendship, love, and dreams.

2. Raajneeti

‘Politics’ in addition to love, betrayal, murder. A mother who left her son years ago and met him afterwards. Are we already talking about a Hindi TV Sitcom? This modern day Mahabharat is dying to be relieved again.

3. Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani

There were many of us who felt sad after coming out from the theaters after watching Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani as we wanted so more of Naina and Bunny. It’s time we extend it a little longer. No saas - bahu melodrama but just a story about friendship and love. This will for sure climb the Everest of TRPs.

4. Queen

*Mile Ek aisi Rani se: Queen* to all the budding feminists out there, this can be a beautiful series of how a girl breaking all stereotypes roles goes on her honeymoon alone. And then dumps her love to make an individual stand in the society.

5. Rockstar

Ever seen Abeer of Badtameez Dil Story soon >> Read More... or Abhi of Kumkum Bhagya Kumkum Bhagya was broadcasted on Zee TV channel. I >> Read More... , if you have you would have seen how Rockstars has been treated in the TV industry. With our Janardhan type hero in the story maybe we can have the show more inclined towards the concept of music rather than everything else.

6. Ae Dil Hai Mushkil

For once, we should put our attention on the story of Ayan and Alizeh. A boy who’s looking for love and the girl for whom the boy is everything but just not his lover. This will totally be a serial , one would want to watch.

7. Fukrey

Two school boys of ‘ Jamuna Paar Jamuna Paar aired on Imagine TV on from 27 Februar >> Read More... ’ Delhi trying their luck to pass in their exams. Another boy for whom the only thing that matters is getting his worth proved in front of his father. And like in every story a depressed lover wanting to earn something in life. A show well- mixed with all the emotions.

8. Baby

After the success of ‘POW: Bande Yudh Ke,’ a show is needed where we see all the sacrifices that a soldier makes for his country. Show on the footsteps of BABY, can be the answer. If 24 can do so well, I hardly doubt the success of this one.

After these two shows, they were no good Horror TV series which we can watch. With a new TV show on the concept of Darna Maana Hai, the TV shows can open gates to this long-lost genre.

10. Fashion

A TV series melding with the ups and downs of Bollywood. That’s the thing one would love to see on their TV sets. Also, how exciting it would be if in alternate episodes some real Bollywood stars pop up to share screen space.
