Raju Jamil, born Zulqarnain Jamil Aali, is an actor in the Pakistani entertainment industry. He is the son of Jamiluddin Aali and Begum Tayyaba Aali. He worked for UBL bank in different positions, including the senior vice president and head of social media. He retired after 42 years of service.
Since 1958, Raju has watched almost all the Pakistani films. In 1967, he debuted as an actor in a PTV drama. He has worked in more than 250 dramas, 50+ plays, and 20 stage plays in English. In 1999–2000, while working in UBL, he worked for GM Media on deputation with the Pakistan Cricket Board for the Pakistan Test Series in Australia. In late 2015, Raju, who was a member of the Governing Body of Anjuman Taraqqi e Urdu Pakistan, was elected as its president. His father, Jamiluddin, was one of the founding members of Anjuman.
