Manzar Bhopali was born on 29 December 1959 in Amravati, Andhra Pradesh. He completed his elementary schooling in the same city. He holds an Urdu master's degree. From Bhopal, he set out on his poetic journey. He is a well-known poet in mushairas and writes under the pen name Manzar. He is a student of Raza Rampuri. Although he mostly writes ghazals, he has also dabbled in other forms of poetry. He recites ghazals in a very melodic rhythm and has a lovely voice. He has participated in the international mushaira of Karachi multiple times and has won numerous awards. His works are collected in Yeh Shadi Tumhari Hai, Zindagi, Lahu Rang Mausam, Laawa, Manzar Ek Bulandi Par, and Udaas Kyu Hu.
