Mirza Zain Baig is a brilliant and diversified artist who has risen in recent years. In the now-defunct Mera Rab Waris, the model-actor also played Faizi, a modest and reclusive young guy. Faizi, according to Zain, is one of his favourite characters. The actor is now appearing in three drama serials: Dil e Gumshuda, Malal e Yaar, and Aas. Zain plays the greedy and avaricious Nadeem in Dil e Gumshuda, on Geo TV. In addition to Zain, Hina Altaf, Amar Khan, and Agha Ali play important parts in the drama.

However, in Malal e Yaar Zain plays a feudal lord's son named Malik Balaj, and it is fair to state that he does an excellent job in all of his ventures. Zain, a chartered accountant by profession, feels that an actor should not be hesitant to try new things. "I've largely done good roles, and if an actor doesn't have a diversified resume, what's the point?" he wondered. In terms of role selection, Zain stated that the importance of the role is most important to him. "I am quite choosy, and before accepting a part, I make certain that it is daring." I also consider whether or not I will be able to pull off the part. Of course, there's the script, the production company, and the director." In terms of future ventures, Zain revealed that he has not yet signed up for a new project and is looking for the proper screenplay.
