Khursheed Hallauri is one of the respected names in the Urdu Poetry circle. He was born in Hallaur, a small village in Uttar Pradesh, close to Nepal Border. He studied in An Urdu Medium School. He first came to Mumbai in the year 1964. But because of the financial problem, he went back to his village and came back to Mumbai after a few years, and fortunately, he didn’t have to struggle a lot. He got married in 1976 and has 4 sons and 2 daughters. He started his career with HMV (now SA RE GA MA PA).

He worked on many Qawalli albums. He wrote Qswallis and bhajans for more than 15 years for T-series.
