Srinivasa Kapavarapu is a Telugu actor and producer who has starred mainly in Hollywood films and TV series. Hailing from Andhra Pradesh, he was a civil engineer who took lessons at the Madhu Film Academy in Hyderabad. He appeared in several Telugu TV shows before resigning from his job and migrating to the USA in 2000. While he was there, Kapavarapu studied acting at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts and graduated in 2009. His first acting credit was in a short film written and directed by the Japanese-American filmmaker, Edson Oda, called ‘Laugh And Die’ in 2010. He would go on to act in several American television shows, web series and short films like ‘Outsourced’, ‘Misadventures of the Unemployed’ and ‘ Luck Click to look into! >> Read More... ’.
His first role in a feature-length film was in the Lifetime movie made in 2011 called ‘The Perfect Roommate’ directed by Kash Sen, not to be confused with another film with the same name which was released that year that was directed by Curtis Crawford. He has also written and performed in a one-person show called ‘Sorry Mom, Sorry Dad & Sorry Girls’ which was directed by Debra De Liso. He would return to work in India in 2012 when he got a role in the Telegu film, ‘Yamaho Yama’. Kapavapuru would continue to act in both Hollywood and Telugu movies since then. In 2015, he produced and acted in a comedy TV movie called ‘Family Fitness’. His latest role was in the Telugu film, ‘Eakam’ which was well received.
