Supriya Shailja is a Tollywood Actress, known for “My Romance with Life (2012),” and “Weekend Love (2014).” She went to St.Meera College & University to complete her B.A Economics, Mumbai, India. Later, she worked at Reliance for a couple of months handling the treasury. Shailja is a benevolent, down-to-earth person who has respect for people around her since her childhood. She is a feminist, free-going person who believes when it comes to sensitive matters, people should be able to express more. Her father is an advocate in Mumbai while her mother is a homemaker.

Her parents were very supportive of her acting profession. She has one elder sibling and one younger sibling; both are engineers working in Delhi & Bangalore. Earlier, during her childhood days, she was into fashion and started participating in the international pageant competitions. Later, she started acting in commercials, and that’s how she got the opportunity as an actress. Shailja received acclaim for playing the role since she always wanted to appear in “message-oriented” movies. She is into slow yet romantic music. Her favorite actor is Superstar Mahesh Babu in the sensational hit “Dhookudu,” and is looking forward to work with him someday. Her favorite place to visit in Jeju Island (South Korea), and enjoys eating Chinese food. In an interview, Shailja talks about how she found herself struggling or encounter difficulty in picking up Telugu language.

Also, how she has grown an attachment to the profession (Doctor) and, furthermore encourages the idea to donate organs for the needy & to promote it. DGP Sri Dinesh Reddy released Apollo Life Oncology Magazine at Apollo Cancer Hospitals; Shailja was present on occasion as an heir and spread awareness. “It’s a concern how so many people die diagnosed with cancer, an individual this is our responsibility to spread this message to the world if diagnosed in the early stage, lots of lives can be saved,” says Shailja.
